Ersan Ä°lyasova

Ersan İlyasova ( born May 15, 1987 in Eskişehir, Turkey) is a Turkish professional basketball player who plays in the NBA for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Career

Turkey

In 2004, he began his professional career at the Turkish first division club Ülkerspor, where he has also been used in games of the ULEB Euro League. In 2006 he was elected at the U- 20 European Championship with Turkey runner, he was named MVP of the tournament.

NBA

In the NBA Draft 2005, he was drafted 36th player of the Milwaukee Bucks. The following season he played in the NBA Development League for the Tulsa 66ers, a farm team of the Milwaukee Bucks. On 19 February 2012, he scored in the game against the New Jersey Nets 29 points and 25 rebounds (including 13 offensive rebounds ). These are each Karrierebestleistungen for him. 2007 Ilyasova signed a contract for two years in Spain, the basketball section of FC Barcelona. He belonged mostly to the players in the starting five and was able to convince with good performances both in the league and in the Euro League.

Back in the NBA

2009 Ilyasova signed a new contract in the NBA and returned to the Milwaukee Bucks. He scored 10.4 points per game, grabbed 6.4 rebounds in section and stood in 31 of 81 games in the starting lineup.

Anadolu Efes SK

On August 3, 2011, İlyasova decided to play during the NBA lockout Anadolu Efes SK in phase. He returned after the end of the lockout back in the NBA.
