Erwin Ammann

Erwin Ammann ( born October 22, 1916 in Würzburg, † December 27, 2000 ) was a German politician ( CSU). He was from 1946 to 1950 Member of the Landtag of Bavaria.

Life

Ammann completed training at the Vocational School of Electrical Engineering in the field of Telegraphenbau and telecommunications trades in Nuremberg. He was leader of the youth bündische youth and in 1934 was arrested for political reasons. In 1935 he made ​​his first foreign trips with the youth group to Austria and 1937 in Italy. Policy

In 1946, Ammann became a member of the city council in Würzburg and also the youngest member of the parliamentary group of the CSU in Bavaria. From 1947 to 1952 he was District Administrator of Ochsenfurt. In the election in 1946 for the first Bavarian state parliament, he moved in the constituency of Lower Franconia in parliament, where he remained only in this term.
