Escheberg (mountain)

The ash mountain ash mountain in North Hesse Kassel district is 448.9 m above sea level. NHN is the highest elevation of the Mark Burger forest in northern goshawk Forests Mountain country.

Geography

Location

The fully wooded mountain ash is located in the nature park Hawk Forest. Its summit rises 3.3 km north of Oberelsungen and 850 m (in each case a straight line ) northwest of Ash Mountain, a small hamlet of Zierenberg in which the Escheberg castle stands with near golf course.

Nature Spatial allocation

The Escheberg heard in the main physiographic unit group West Hesse Highlands (No. 34) and in the main unit hawk forests Bergland (342 ) for the subunit times Wald ( 342.4 ).

Transport and Hiking

Runs west on Ash Mountain By in north-south direction through the times Wald in the north-west of the state road 3080 ( Breuna top Listingen ) branched off county road 88, which meets in Escheberg to the coming of Laar County Road 87; the latter crosses a little further south, the Federal Highway 44 and pushes beyond it on the L 3214 ( Oberelsungen - Friedrichsaue - Zierenberg ). The hilltop is, for example, of these streets starting to reach only on forest roads and paths.
