Esclangon (crater)

15:29

Esclangon is an impact crater on the moon northeastern front of the sine Amoris and Lacus bonitatis, northeast of Crater Hill and west of Macrobius.

The interior of the crater was flooded by lavas and is therefore flat, the rim looks just as shallow, soft burr

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1976 after the French astronomer and mathematician Ernest Esclangon.
