The Ésera is a river in the north of the Aragon region of Spain. It runs through the Ebro basin and is one of the major tributaries of the Cinca.

The Ésera arises in 2,500 m on the northern flank of the Maladeta massif in the Pyrenees of Huesca Province. In its valley are places like Benasque and Campo. He is a typical flow of the Pyrenees, derived its water from the glaciers of Aneto and the local rainfall.

In the gray Ésera flows together with the Isábena. Further south it is regulated by the Barasona Dam where the Aragon- Catalonia - channel is created.
