Ester Soré

Sore ester ( born May 27, 1915 in Santiago de Chile, † 6 September 1996, ibid; actual name Marta Yupanqui Donoso ) was a Chilean singer.

The daughter of Peruvian immigrants took at the age of fourteen years to sample recordings for broadcasting with the pianist and composer Donato Román Heitman, who gave it the name of the first sore. She began a career as a singer in the broadcasting and in 1938 was chosen by the magazine Ercilla Miss radio. She performed in the same year with the humorists Pepe Arias and Pepe Iglesias and musician Rodolfo Biagi at Radio Belgrano in Buenos Aires and worked in the next year along with Nicanor Molinare, Romilio Romo and Los Cuatro Huasos in the Chilean film Dos corazones y una tonada by Carlos García Huidobro on which he Donato Román had composed the music.
