Etienne Renkewitz

Renkewitz Etienne ( born March 2, 1988 in Duisburg ) is a German professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2011 at the Duisburg Foxes in the big leagues under contract and since the 2012/2013 season plays by mining license at the Cologne Sharks.

Career

Etienne Renkewitz began his career in 2004 in ice hockey boarding the Star Bulls Rosenheim in the DNL. At the beginning of the 2007/ 08 joined the Under-19 national team goalkeeper in the league to the polar bears Juniors Berlin. There he came on 19 missions and was goalkeeper for the Polar Bears Berlin in the DEL playoffs, with whom he - even if he had no use - was able to celebrate the German championship.

Since the 2008/ 09 season Renkewitz was licensed for Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg and eligible to play at the same time for the mining license partner ETC Crimmitschau. In November 2009, the mining license to the EC Peiting was assigned so that Renkewitz on 27 November 2009 played his first game wearing the jersey of the Allgäu.

In summer 2010 it was announced that Renkewitz plays from the season 2010/11 season for the DEG Metro Stars. He also received a mining license for the foxes Duisburg, for which he usually comes used.
