Euan Robson

Euan Robson (born 1954 in Northern England) is a Scottish politician and member of the Liberal Democrats.

Life

Morgan attended Trinity College in Glenalmond and then moved to the Newcastle University, which he left with a bachelor degree in history. Then Robson earned a master's degree in political science from the University of Strathclyde. He then worked as a teacher at a school in Morpeth and then took a job with the Gas Consumers' Northern Council, a consumer protection organization for gas customers to.

Political career

In the first Scottish Parliament elections in 1999, Robson applied for the direct mandate of the constituency of Roxburgh and Berwickshire. He received the largest share of the vote and pulled so into the newly created Scottish Parliament. Following the resignation of his party colleague Tavish Scott Robson was appointed in March 2003 as Deputy Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs and held this position until the end of the legislative period. In the parliamentary elections in 2003, he could easily enlarge its share of the vote, thus defending his position. In the newly formed cabinet he took the position of Deputy State Secretary for Education and teens. The Conservative John Lamont finally able to prevail in the general election of 2007 against Robson, whereby he lost his seat and left Parliament. As part of the constituency reform of 2011, the constituency Roxburgh and Berwickshire was dissolved and largely replaced by the newly created constituency of Ettrick, Roxburgh and Berwickshire.
