Eugen Heinz

Eugen Heinz (* 1889, † 1977) was a German administrative officer and president of the state employment office, Baden- Württemberg until 1956.

Life

Heinz was 1919-1934 worked in various labor authorities in southwest Germany, until he lost his job after refusing to join the Nazi Party. From 1934 to 1945 he was assigned to the Technical State Office in Ludwigsburg. After the Second World War, he was from 1945 to President of the state employment office, Württemberg- Baden and after the formation of the Southwest State President of the State Labour Office Baden- Württemberg. On March 31, 1956, he was forced to retire.

In addition to his professional activities, Heinz took over honorary offices in the section Swabia the German Alpine Club (DAV). After his accession in 1920, he became in 1924 director of the youth group and was from 1929 to 1932 Head of the ski section, which gained great sporting successes under him. From 1953 to 1970 he was first chairman of the section. The section belonging Jamtalhütte in the Silvretta massif was nicknamed Dr. Eugen- Heinz Hut.

Heinz was the grandfather of the psychiatrist and psychotherapist Andreas Heinz.
