Eun Hee-kyung

Heekyung Eun, Eun Hee- kyung also or Un Hikyong, (* 1959 in Gochang, South Korea) is a South Korean writer.

Life

Eun Heekyung was born in 1959. She grew up in a wealthy family in the province and met early literature in the form of fairy tales, in their world, they could completely sink. At the age of 13, she moved with her family to Seoul. In 1977, she began her study of Korean literature. The intent from her childhood to become a writer, she did not give up. In the 80 years she worked as a school teacher, as an editor of various publishers or as a publishing consultant. 1994 left her a leave of absence, took a notebook and pulled down to write in a Buddhist monastery back. There are five little stories and the novella created The duet, with which she won a literary prize and made ​​his debut as a writer. She lives with her family near Seoul.
