Evelyn (singer)
Evelyn ( born December 6, 1980 as Valerie Evelyn Zangger ) is a Swiss singer and songwriter from Zurich.

Biography
Childhood
Evelyn made her first experience as a singer at the age of ten years in the school choir, also sang in the church choir. The age of 14 she gave first small concerts for their friends at school. At age 16, she founded with three friends their first girl group V'Locity. Together, they gave many regional concerts and had first local success.
2001 - 2004: Popstars Switzerland / TEARs
In 2001, she beat out 3,000 other girls and was one of four winners of the talent show Popstars Switzerland and became a member of the four-member girl group TEARs whose debut single got in at number 1 in the Swiss charts and was awarded a gold record. For the production of a further single was England's most successful producer Rob Davis and Cathy Dennis are committed to having already worked with Blue and Kylie Minogue together.

2005 - 2009: Creative break and the first projects

2010 - 2012: Collaboration with Mike Candys
In the fall of 2010, the Swiss DJ and producer Mike Candys looking for a new voice for his latest track Together Again. Through a friendly label owner Mike became aware of Evelyn, and the chemistry between the two agreed right away. The single rose Together Again on April 24, 2011 as the highest new entry in the Swiss charts.
On 15 July 2011 published in collaboration with Mike Candys and Patrick Miller One Night In Ibiza, the single, which became an international success and was honored in Germany, Austria and Switzerland with a gold record.

Since the summer of 2012: solo career
In August 2012, Evelyn reported on your Facebook Page, that she had signed a contract as a solo artist on Kontor Records. The website tillate.com reported that Mike Candys presumably in response to the launch of Evelyn's solo career all planned appearances with Evelyn canceled by a lawyer. On September 14, 2012, she has published over Kontor Records her solo debut single Dirty Nights.
2013 gave Candys and Evelyn known to work together again and are currently starting together with rapper Carlprit a new single. The song is called Brand New Day, and appeared on 15 March 2013. However, the single was at a very low success because of the track, due to the strong resemblance to Mike Candys ' other singles, a lot of negative criticism received in all countries.
On June 28, 2013, the release of the single Everybody took place. In this song Evelyn worked again as a guest musician with Mike Candys and RIOs ex- frontman Tony T. with. However, the song appeared in a new style on Kontor Records. For the first time the track was introduced in April 2013 by Mike Candys as a preview on his YouTube account and presented on May 20, 2013 in color emotions Festival Würzburg by Mike Candys, Evelyn and Tony T. live in full length.
