Evidence (musician)

Evidence ( born December 10, 1976 in Los Angeles, California; bourgeois Michael Perretta ) is an American rapper and hip hop producer. He is a member of the group Dilated Peoples.

Career

Evidence was born the son of an Italian and a Russian-born American. At the age of six, he moved to his parents' divorce and his mother from Santa Monica to Venice. There he became interested in his childhood for skateboarding and graffiti. When he moved again at 12, he learned QDIII, the son of Quincy Jones know. From him he learned how to produce. From 1992 he was then part of the group Dilated Peoples. Only in 2007 he published, after numerous albums and singles with the group, his solo debut, The Weatherman LP on ABB Records. This he had planned since 2001, but it could not implement pursuant to a contract with Capitol Records, which ended in 2006. In 2008, he put on the Internet, The Layover Mixtape, mixed by DJ Skee, free for download. It served as a preparation for the eponymous EP, which was released in Germany on 21 November 2008. Attached was a DVD featuring four music videos of the EP and two of the album The Weatherman LP can be seen. Another video of a song EP he released on the Internet, and in February 2009, one for the single For Whom The Bell Tolls.
