Evolution Studios Ltd.. is a British video game developers.

Company History

The company was founded in 1999 by Martin Kenwright (Digital Image Design) and Ian Hetherington ( Psygnosis ). The headquarters is located in Runcorn, Cheshire. A branch office is located in Bigbig Studios in Warwickshire.

Both evolution and Bigbig studios were purchased in September 2007 by Sony Computer Entertainment.

In January 2012 it was announced that Sony Bigbig studios have closed after the completion of work on Little Deviants.
