ExcelStor Technology
ExcelStor Technology is a Chinese hard drive manufacturer based in Shenzhen / China, where the production is located. The company was founded in 2001 and took over shortly after the U.S. hard drive maker Conner Technologies. Therefore, the development center of ExcelStor is located in Longmont / Colorado (USA). ExcelStor belongs partly to the company Shenzhen Kaifa Technology, which mainly Great Wall Technology is one in turn.
Products
The company, which initially hard drive models from IBM licenses and developments of Conner Technologies. After a wide-ranging exchange of patents and manufacturing agreement was signed with IBM, the even after the sale of IBM's hard drive division to Hitachi Global Storage Technologies ( HGST ) continues to hold, and has since been extended even: ExcelStor since mid made in 2003 hard drives for HGST.
