Exotenwald Weinheim

The Exotenwald in Weinheim is a 1872 founded Arboretum and with a size of 60 hectares one of the largest in Europe. While exotic tree species are often shown in groups or a few single copies in other arboretums, a whole forest is planted with a tree species in exotic woods always the same. Thus, for example redwoods - mostly seen in Germany as single copies - are considered as forest trees, and meanwhile has a height of 60 meters.
