Fabian Lenz

Fabian Lenz is a German DJ, techno musician and organizer, who was also known by his stage name DJ Dick. His brother is the DJ known as Westbam and music producer Maximilian Lenz.

Curriculum vitae

Fabian Lenz has worked as a DJ since 1984. The following year he founded with his brother Maximilian, the producer Klaus Jankuhn, Sandra Molzahn and William Roettger the record label Low Spirit. One of the most successful artists of the new label was the early 1990s, Marusha, which was associated at this time with Lenz.

In 1988 Lenz released several singles and EPs on Low Spirit, whom he had often produced together with Klaus Jahn Kuhn. As a remixer, he provided new arrangements for Raver 's Nature ( Somebody Scream, 1996) and Genlog ( More Music, 1998).

Lenz had in 1991 to support the idea, the city was still on the brink of radio stations DT64 with a rave and thus became the initiator of the first Mayday in the hall Weissensee in Berlin.

End of the 1990s, Lenz moved largely by the music production and DJ'ing back. After the Berlin Love Parade was no longer classified in 2001 as a political demonstration, was also Managing Director of the organizing Loveparade GmbH has been replaced.
