Fabio Sacchi
Fabio Sacchi (* May 23, 1974 in Milan ) is an Italian former racing cyclist.
Career
Fabio Sacchi 1997 at Polti professional. He then drove at Saeco and Fassa Bortolo, before joining the Italian-German team Milram 2006. Sacchi took part in four of the Tour de France and won stages at the Vuelta a Murcia, the Tour Down Under and the Tour of Portugal. He celebrated 2005 at Milan -Turin, his greatest success. In 2009 he ended his professional career. He then took part in Gran Fondos and won the 2009 Gran Fondo Nove Colli prestigious.
Doping
Sacchi was accused in an investigation report of the Anti- Doping Commission of the French Senate in July 2013, to include around 60 riders, which based on retests from 2004 Doping with the formation of blood hormone erythropoietin (short: EPO) at the 1998 Tour de France could be detected.
