Fahrudin Radončić

Fahrudin Radončić ( born May 24, 1957 in Ivan degree, Yugoslavia ) is a Bosnian journalist and entrepreneur.

Life

Radončić, a Bosniak, dates from the Montenegrin part of Sandžak region. Professionally, he began in Bosnia as a journalist. During the Bosnian War, he was spokesman for the Bosnian army.

After the war he founded in late 1995 - with the financial support and controlled by the " Stranka Demokratske Akcije " (SDA ) of Alija Izetbegovic, the dominant party of Bosnia - the Dnevni Avaz ( Daily Voice ), he made the largest daily newspaper in the country and their editor he is. The publisher is located in the Avaz Twist Tower, the tallest building in the Balkans. In addition, he also owns the only printing the Bosnian capital, are printed in the newspapers also competing so that Radončić indirectly controls the other media.

Today Radončić is considered the richest man in his country and is also called " Bosnia Donald Trump ".

He founded in 2009 the party " waistband for a better future" ( Savez za bolju Budućnost of Bosnia and Herzegovina - SBB BiH). In the election on 3 October 2010, he managed to secure with just under 31 percent of the vote in second place in the election for the Bosniak member of the Presidency.
