The Fairmont Municipal Airport is a public airport of General Aviation around 4 km southwest of the city of Fairmont in the U.S. state of West Virginia. The official name, according to FAA documentation, is Fairmont Muni - Frankman Field with the FAA codes 4G7. Its owner is the private law firms Fairmont - Marion County Regional Airport Authority. This airport is one of the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems, which categorizes it as a means of general aviation. Frankman Field is located within the control area of Clarksburg ( West Virginia) and has no own tower for air traffic control. Arrivals and departures are coordinated by Clarksburg Control.
