Faithless
Faithless were a British music group whose music was described by one member of the band as a cross between trip - hop and dance and also had influences from trance. The three members of Faithless Maxi Jazz, Sister Bliss and Rollo. Both on tour as well as on various albums musicians such as Jamie Catto, Zoë Johnston, Dido, LSK (Leigh Stephen Kenny ), etc., were represented with guest appearances. Known titles were Insomnia, God is a DJ, Reverence Salva Mea, We Come 1 and One Step Too Far ( with Dido, sister of Rollo ).
Faithless understood always as politically minded band, very clear about the Single Mass Destruction (2004) -. A radical anti-war song of the professing Buddhists Maxi Jazz They also performed as part of the worldwide Live 8 benefit concerts on 2 July 2005 in Berlin. Singer Maxi Jazz entered additionally on 6 July 2005 at the Live 8 Final Concert The Final Push in Edinburgh, together with 1 Giant Leap, Neneh Cherry, Will Young and The Mahotella Queens on.
After a world tour that began in the summer of 2004 and ended in the fall of 2005, would insert with the TV channel MTV a break, the band according to an interview. Previously published in 2005 nor the first live DVD of Faithless, entitled Live at Alexandra Palace, which was recorded at Alexandra Palace. 2006 album To All New Arrivals appeared. On May 17, was released in 2010 in Germany with The Dance the sixth studio album, Not Going Home which was released on May 2 as a first single.
On 16 March 2011, the band announced their dissolution which was celebrated with a final concert on April 8, 2011 in Brixton O2 Arena. The final concert was live shown in cinemas around the globe.
