Fan club

A fan club is an informal or formal association of friends or fans of " someone " or "something". Depending on the topic Fan clubs have different tasks. He is, however, usually always consists of several paying members and a board of directors. It may be a membership organization, but does not.

Sports

One of the main activities is the organization of the joint visit of away games of their club.

The fan club of the Norwegian band Turbonegro describes himself as Turbojugend.

TV series

The TV series and feature films Star Trek ( Star Trek ) have caused many supporters' clubs worldwide since the 1960s. Fans of the series call themselves Trekkies and meet like- minded people and their idols often at conventions, as FedCon. These structures are also found in fans of other TV series such as Stargate.
