Fanis Christodoulou

Theofanis Christodoulou (Greek Θεοφάνης Χριστοδούλου, May 22nd, 1965 in Athens, Greece ) is a retired Greek professional basketball player and member of the European champion team of 1987.

Christodoulou was in the 80s and 90s as one of Europe's best forwards. In his professional career, the 2.03 meter Great small forward played alongside Dafni and Panionios Athens Panathinaikos Athens for where he could win the Greek Cup in 1998.

His debut at the Greek national was Christodoulou on August 31, 1983 a 62-51 victory over Bulgaria. In the following 14 years Christodoulou was one of the key players of Greece and took part in five European Championships, the World Cup and the Olympic Games in Atlanta. His biggest success with the national team won Christodoulou 1987, when he won the European Championship on home soil. In 1997, after a match against Russia Christodoulou joined by 219 international matches, where he back 2,264 points scored ( 10.34 on average ) from the national team.
