FC Ederbergland

The FC Ederbergland is a football club in the Hessian town of Battenberg ( Eder) and the neighboring village of Allendorf ( Eder), which plays in the Hessen League from the 2013/2014 season.

History

The association was created in early 1997 from the merger of the football departments of TSV Battenberg ( relegated from the Oberliga Hessen ) and the SV 1924 Allendorf ( country league team ). In the first year of its existence, the club won the championship of the division and was promoted to the Oberliga Hessen, the time in which he was able to hold three years fourth- highest division in the German league system. After the descent of the FC Ederbergland played several years in the League Association Hesse, about which he could reach the final of the Hessen Cup in the 2011/12 season, where he eventually succumbed to Kickers Offenbach. In the 2012/13 season FC Ederbergland runner-up of the federation League Hessen -Mitte was. As the winner of the following relegation round of the club reached the promotion to the Hessen League.

The FC Ederbergland plays its home games at the constant change in Battenberg ( stadium ducks Park ) and Allendorf (Stadium Beetwiese ) from.
