FC Hoyvík

Hoyvík FC, ​​founded as Fram Tórshavn ( " forward Tórshavn ") is a Faroese football club from Hoyvík, a suburb of Tórshavn. Since 2012 there is a gaming community with FF Giza.

History

Originally Fram Tórshavn was founded on 12 January 1975, so that the fourth capital club after HB Tórshavn (1904 ), B36 Tórshavn (1936) and AB Argir (1973). Since the suburb Argir was incorporated into the municipality Tórshavn in 1997, Fram can be regarded as the third capital club.

1977 Fram played for one season in the first Deild (now Effodeildin ) before they descended as Table again. Fram is the only Faroese football club in history, made ​​it from the first league down to the fourth league.

Fram was 2008 in the 3rd League ( 2 Deild ) took first place, reaching promotion to the first Deild. The end of 2008 was renamed FC Hoyvík was decided.
