FC Luch-Energiya Vladivostok

The FK Luch Energiya Vladivostok - (Russian Футбольный клуб Луч - Энергия Владивосток, Futbolny club sucking - Energiya Vladivostok; scientific transliteration Futbol'nyj club Luč - Energiya Vladivostok) is a Russian football club was established in 1952 from the Pacific city of Vladivostok. In 1993 and from 2005 to 2008 belonged to the club of Russia's highest league and was the furthest being moved to the east Serie A club UEFA.

Club history

The club took off in 1958 under the name Dynamo ( Динамо ) participate in regular league play. After the reorganization of the football leagues of the Soviet Union in 1972, the club in the second Soviet League, the League Perwaja was recorded. The club played until the end of the USSR in the different scales for the Far East, the second division of the USSR; the best result was the runner-up in season 1984.

In 1992, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, the new Russian league was founded, Vladivostok is classified in Season "East" of the first division, the second- highest division. At this time the club was named lozenges ( Луч ). As masters of the season 1992, the team rose to the highest Russian league. However Vladivostok rose last but one of 1993 again immediately in the second division. 1997 followed by a further descent into the third highest league level, where the team from the Far East spent a total of six seasons. Only in the year 2005, the team succeeded as master of the first division of the resurgence. 2008 Vladivostok rose as Table from again. After re relegation 2011/12 lozenges Energia spent the season 2012/13 again in the 2nd Division and was able to celebrate its chances of promotion as one of those season champion.

Many other Russian Premier League clubs complained about the long journey and the extreme time difference in their respective away games in Vladivostok.
