FC Victoria Brăneşti

FC Victoria Brăneşti is a Romanian football club from Brăneşti, Ilfov County. He's been playing the 2012/13 season in the third highest Romanian football league, the League III.

History

Victoria Brăneşti was founded in 1968 and played for almost 40 years in the lower leagues. His rapid rise to fame began in 2007, when the club rose to the League III. Although as a goal for the season to avoid relegation had been spent always succeeded in 2009, the re- ascent - this time in the League II a year later the walkover was perfect and Victoria succeeded in 2010 under coach Ilie Stan promotion to the top division, the league 1. Brăneşti thus replaced Scorniceşti as the smallest place from Romania, from which ever one club had played in the top division. Since the Stadionul Cătălin Hîldan was not suitable due to its small size games of League 1, Victoria wore his first eleven home games in the season 2010 /11 in Stadionul Municipal Buzău and the last six in Stadionul Concordia Chiajna from. Because the team after 27 Matchday already nine points behind had a non- relegation and the club was struggling with major financial problems, Ilie Stan dissolved on 19 April 2011, his coach contract and was replaced by the former assistant coach Ciprian Urican. At the end of the season the club was relegated as a third- Last of the table in the Table II. After disappointing results in the first eleven games of head coach Urican was released on 31 October 2011 and replaced by Marin Duna, the former coach of the second team. During the winter break, the club withdrew from the league and were relegated to the League III.
