FC Victoria Rosport

The FC Victoria Rosport is a Luxembourgian football club, which plays in the Honorary Degree (2nd Division). Abode is in VictoriArena Rosport. The club colors are red and white.

Victoria Rosport was established October 1, 1928. 1930, the club was admitted to the Luxembourg Football Federation and first participated in the league play. In the season 1937/1938 he was promoted to the 2nd Division (4th league), but in 1940 had to be adjusted due to the occupation of Luxembourg by the Wehrmacht of playing for Victoria. 1945, the club was re-established.

He first played in the 3rd Division ( 5 league). In the season 1969/1970 for the first time he was promoted to the first division. A further rise in 1987 followed in 1999 the honorary degree of re- descent into the first division. In the following season, and failed to re-emergence and in the 2001/2002 season Rosport rose for the first time in the National Division, the highest league in Luxembourg on. In this Rosport be able to maintain until the next descent 2008.

With a fourth place in the 2004/05 season Rosport was allowed to participate in the following season at the Intertoto Cup. There, however, one was eliminated in the first round when they lost IFK Gothenburg with 1:2 and 1:3.
