Luxembourg Division of Honour

The honorary doctorate (also Ehrendivision called ) as Intermediate Division ( lëtzebuergesch: Éirepromotioun as Intermediate Divisioun, French: Promotion d' Honneur comme Division Intermédiaire ) is the second highest football class in Luxembourg and at the same time the honor of collecting as an intermediate league between district and National League. The honorary doctorate play 14 teams for the promotion to the National Division. Between 1989 and 1994, the honorary degree in 2 districts ( 1st District, and the 2nd district ) was divided. The first 4 teams each district played in 2 groups of 6 teams against four teams from the National Division a promotion round, the respectively best 2 teams of each group were promoted to the National Division or the class held by it.
