FCSR Haguenau

FCSR Haguenau ( Football Club Sports Réunis Haguenau ), sometimes FR Haguenau, is a French football club from Haguenau (German Haguenau ), a town in Alsace. The club is currently playing ( season 2013/14 ) in the sechstklassigen Division d'Honneur.

History of the SR Haguenau

The club was founded in 1920 in Haguenau. The greatest success to date in the club's history, he celebrated in 1977 with the rise in the Division 2 (now Ligue 2). However, at the end of the season 1977/78 we got back from out of Division 2. 1975, 1976 and 1979 succeeded the victory in the Coupe d'Alsace, the regional cup competition. In the National Cup SR came 1975/76 and 1976/77 respectively before even down to the sixteenth finals. 1987 merged the SR Haguenau then to exist with FC Haguenau Haguenau for FCSR with which the SR Haguenau ceased.

History than FCSR

In the season 1987/88 they started in the then sechstklassigen Promotion d' excellence. 1989 saw the Alsatian as the leader in the Division d' Honneur, which was the fifth- highest league at the time.

The following season the team managed to march through, as promotion to the Division 4. And the walkover went further than the Hagenauer in 1994, ascended as the leader in the Division 3. The 1992/93 season they finished as Table ninth. When the French league system was reformed, the club played in the Alsatian town from now on in the now fourth-rate National 2 as the leader of the club was able to finish the 1993/94 season. That was synonymous with the rise in the third division. In the 1994/95 season the FCSR Haguenau could occupy only the 14th place in the table. In the following season the club finished in 17th place, which is synonymous with the descent into the new CFA 2 ( replaced the National 2) was.

The Alsatians played there until 2000, but rose again to ascend into the new CFA. The 2000/01 season, however, was a disaster. In the end, the re- direct descent. In the CFA 2 of FCSR now played until 2004, to (now the sixth- highest division ) then descend into the Division d' Honneur. As a leader you mastered the 2004/05 season to recurrent climb directly. By 2009 they played again in the CFA 2, and then again to take up the course in the Sechstklassigkeit. There they play today.
