Fernande Bochatay

Fernande Bochatay ( born January 23, 1946 in Marécottes, Valais ) is a Swiss former ski racer.

Bochatay was the late 1960s, one of the most successful racers of the Swiss National Ski Team. From January to February 1968, she won three World Cup races. In another 15 races she went into the top ten. In the overall standings of the 1968 season they finished as the best Swiss fifth.

The biggest success of her career, she celebrated in 1968 at the Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble, where they left their Dauerrivalin Nancy Greene and the Frenchwoman Annie Famose won the bronze medal in the giant slalom.
