Yongshu Jiao (Chinese永 暑 礁, Pinyin Yǒngshǔ Jiao Fiery Cross Reef or; Filipino: Kagitingan; Vietnamese: Đà Chu Thap ), is an atoll of the Nansha Islands in the South China Sea. The largely submerged atoll reefs which form a round shape, has an area of ​​over 4 square kilometers, the maximum extent of reef formations from northeast to southwest, a length of 26 km and a width of 7.5 km. The numerous reefs and sandbanks at high tide are largely below the water level. The lagoon is only faintly discernible and has a depth of 14.6 m to 40 m. History
