Filippo di Piero Strozzi

Filippo Strozzi (* 1541, † 1582) was a Florentine soldier in the service of France. He came from the Italian family Strozzi.

He was the son of the French marshal Piero Strozzi and a grandson of the younger Filippo Strozzi, served in the French army and was captured by the Spaniards on the campaign against the Duke of Terceira Island in a sea battle off the Azores and killed. He was a friend of Pierre de Bourdeille, seigneur de Brantome ( 1540-1614 ).
