Filippo Giannini

Filippo Giannini ( born May 9, 1923 in Nettuno, province of Rome, Italy; † 10 February 2012) was auxiliary bishop in Rome.

Life

Filippo Giannini received on 29 June 1947, the ordination. Pope John Paul II appointed him on 1 December 1980 as Titular Bishop of Subaugusta as well as auxiliary bishop in the diocese of Rome and donated him on 6 January 1981 in St. Peter's episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Giovanni Canestri, Auxiliary Bishop of Rome, and Joaquim Belchior da Silva Neto CM, Bishop of Luz. He was an advisor to the charity Pia Unione Pietatis Opus.

On 3 July 1998 John Paul II accepted his resignation age-related.
