The Finke Bach is a 9.4 km long, right-sided or eastern tributary of the Hombach in the river system of the Weser. It flows entirely within the city of Bassum ( Diepholz, Lower Saxony, Germany ).

Course

The source of the Finke Bach is located between Neubruchhausen and Bassum ( center ). From there it flows north through Bramstedt, takes on the Bramstedter Beeke and flows south from the nucleus Nordwohlde in Hombach.

Conservation area

In the area of ​​communities Heiligenrode, Driving Horst, Ristedt, Nordwohlde, Bramstedt, Stühren, Hollwedel, Klosterseelte and Kirchseelte since 1967 exists the protected landscape Hombach - Finke Bach Klosterbach. With a surface area of approx. 26.80 km ², it is intended to serve as a nature observation and recreation area.
