Finncomm Airlines was a private Finnish airline based in Seinäjoki.

History

The company was (now Blue1 ) founded in 1993 by father and his son Heikki Juhani Pakari as Air Botnia.

In 1996 she sold her shares in SAS, founded an air taxi company and cooperated since 1998 with Finnair. Since then flew Finncomm among other feeder services on behalf of Finnair. Some routes were served exclusively by Finncomm. Finncomm 2006 employed approximately 165 employees.

In July 2011 it was announced that Finncomm was acquired by a joint venture between Flybe and Finnair will operate in the future as new Flybe Nordic.

Destinations

Finncomm operate international routes from Finland to Oslo, Norrköping, Tallinn and Stuttgart. In addition, numerous Finnish cities are served, such as Jyväskylä, Joensuu, Kemi - Tornio Kokkola - Pietarsaari, Kuopio, Kuusamo, Pori, Savonlinna, Tampere, Turku, Vaasa or Varkaus. On weekends, the schedule was reduced. Seasonal ski resorts also in the far north, as Enontekiö, Kittila and Kuusamo were served.
