Fintry

Fintry is a small village in central Scotland, nestled in the Strath of Endrick Water between the Campsie Fells and the Fintry Hills, about 30 km north of Glasgow. The village is located within the district of Stirling. The census results from 2001 show that Fintry and the surrounding rural areas have a combined population of 691.

Facilities

The village has a sports club with rugby fields. Fintry has a primary school with a bandaged kindergarten. It has Culcreuch Castle is also a hotel, the dwelling of the largest bat colony in the UK.
