Firesteel River (Ontario)

The Firesteel River is a right tributary of the Seine River in Thunder Bay District in southwestern Ontario, Canada.

The Firesteel River has its origin in the Trap Lake. He initially flows in direction southsouthwest, turns briefly to the northwest, the North Firesteel River receives from the right and flows back south-southwest. He later takes on the East Firesteel River from the left. 16 km west of Upsala crossing the Trans-Canada Highway ( Highway 17 Ontario ) the river. A little later joins the Hay River from the left in the Firesteel River. The Firesteel River now flows in a westerly direction and hits 35 km west of Upsala on the Seine River.

The Firesteel River has a length of 55 km. He thereby has an altitude difference of 58 m. Measured from the source of the inflow Firesteel River reaches the Winnipeg River has a total length of 813 km.
