First Mesa ( Hopi: Walpi ) is a census -designated place in Navajo County in the U.S. state of Arizona. First Mesa has 1124 inhabitants ² on an area of 24.4 km. It is located in the Hopi Indian Reservation and is affected by the Arizona State Route 264.

First Mesa is located in Cedar Unified School District. With the White Cone High School First Mesa has its own high school.
