Kayenta (Navajo: Tó Dinéeshzhee ) is a census -designated place in Navajo County, Arizona. It has 4922 inhabitants and an area of 34.3 km ² and lies at an altitude of 1719 m.

It is located south of Monument Valley and is home to some of the hotels for visitors to the valley. Due to the location in the Navajo Nation Reservation, the sale of alcohol is prohibited in Kayenta.

South of U.S. Highway 163 Kayenta begins on U.S. Highway 160
