Florica Musicescu

Florica Musicescu ( born May 21, 1887 in Iaşi, † March 19, 1969 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian pianist and music teacher.

Musicescu taught piano at the Conservatory of Bucharest. She coined almost all Romanian pianist in the mid- twentieth century. Among her pupils were Radu Lupu next Dinu Lipatti and also Corneliu Gheorghiu, Paul Dan, Sorin Enachescu, Mihai Brediceanu, Myriam Marbe, MINDRU Katz, Tamás Vesmás and Shulamith Shapira. She was also a teacher who was born in Bucharest German pianist Walter Krafft, the founder and director of the Munich music seminar.
