Foluke Akinradewo

Foluke Antinuke Akinradewo ( born October 5, 1987 in London, Ontario) is an American volleyball player.

Career

Akinradewo attended from 2001 to 2005, the St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale and began with the volleyball. In 2004 she won the U.S. Junior NORCECA continental championship and a year later she took part in the Junior World Cup. Then debuted the middle blocker who has next to the U.S. and the Canadian and Nigerian citizenship, in the senior team. In 2005 she also began her studies at Stanford University. The University of team Akinradewo received various awards in the following years. At the Pan American Games she won in 2007 with the U.S. Bronze. The following year she finished her studies. 2010 won the U.S. women with Akinradewo the Grand Prix and finished fourth at the World Championships. In October of the same year, the middle blocker went to Japan to TAB Queenseis. 2011 defended the U.S. title at the Grand Prix successful and also took second place in the World Cup. Akinradewo played in the 2011/12 season with the Russian first division club Dynamo Krasnodar VK. In 2012 she won with the USA at the Olympic Games in London, the silver medal. After the tournament, she moved to Azerbaijan Rabita Baku.
