Forbes Shire

Forbes is located in the Central West region about 370 km west of the city of Sydney and 280 km north- west of the Australian capital Canberra. The area includes 52 districts and towns, including Bandon, Bedgerebong, Bundabarrah, Corradgery, Daroobalgie, Forbes, Mulyandry, Ooma North, Paytens Bridge, Red Bend, Warroo and parts of Cookamidgera, Eugowra and Wirrinya. The seat of the Shire Council is located in Forbes, where about 7,000 inhabitants.

Management

The Forbes Shire Council has nine members, who are elected by the residents of the LGA. Forbes is not divided into districts. From among the Councillors also the Mayor ( Mayor ) of the Council recruited.
