Francis Spain

Francis James Spain ( born February 17, 1909 in Quitman, Georgia, † June 23, 1977 in Rochester, New York ) was an American professional ice hockey player.

Career

Francis Spain first attended the Phillips Exeter Academy and then Dartmouth College. Parallel to his studies, he played hockey and baseball. Then he ran for the Amateur Hockey Team Boston Olympics. After his hockey career, he worked as a businessman.

Internationally

For the USA, Spain participated in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, where he won the bronze medal with his team.
