Francisco Valmerino Neri

Francisco Valmerino Neri (born 15 February 1976 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian footballer.

Career

Neri began at the age of 15 years with the football. At 20 he made ​​his debut in the first of the Brazilian league. Through an agent, he came in the late 1990s to Switzerland for FC Köniz.

In the following years, Neri played at FC St. Gallen FC Wil 1900, at SC Kriens, at FC Schaffhausen and BSC Young Boys. During the winter break of the season 2005/ 06 he moved on loan to FC Aarau. There, however, he was only sporadically used, since he was plagued by many injuries. In the season 2006/ 07 he returned to FC Schaffhausen.

End of the season there were between Jürgen Seeberger and Neri differences. So he had to watch from the stands the game at FC Basel. Finally he rose with FC Schaffhausen from the Challenge League. Then Neri played for AC Bellinzona, whose team he rose in the Super League and reached the final of the Swiss Cup in 2007 /08. His contract was terminated early in January 2009 by mutual agreement.
