Frank Bornemann

Frank Bornemann (* April 27, 1945 in Hannover ) is a German musician and producer. He is the founder of the art-rock band Eloy and founder of Horus Sound Studios in Hannover.

Life

Since the early 1960s, Frank Bornemann is active as a musician. In 1969 he founded the art-rock band Eloy, with which he became internationally known. As an explorer and producer of Guano Apes, he enjoyed great success as a producer. In addition, Bornemann founded a music publishing and the record company artist station and is active in the promotion of young artists. After 11 -year break, Frank Bornemann published in 2009 at the request of many fans again a new studio album with Eloy and are since then tours again and concerts with the band, but this is logistically quite a challenge, as all current members of the band ( including, inter alia, the longtime bassist Klaus Peter Matziol who works full-time as CEO of Peter Rieger concert Agency are busy ) and live scattered all over Germany. According to Bornemann it is therefore no longer the same band as before, as all the members lived in or near Hannover around and weekly times just could meet several times to the sample.

Bornemann himself divides his time between Hanover and France.
