Frank Seno

Frank Seno (* February 15, 1921 in Mendota, Illinois; † March 3, 1974 in Bellwood, Illinois) was an US- American football player. He played as a running back and defensive back in the National Football League ( NFL), among others, the Washington Redskins.

Career

Frank Seno was already active in high school as a football and basketball players, as well as track and field athlete. Because of his athletic achievements, he was honored by his school several times. In the years 1940 and 1941 his nomination was submitted to the State Football selections. After leaving school he received a scholarship at George Washington University. After two years of study, the college introduced due to the Second World War a game operation. During his studies, he received a contract offer from the Washington Redskins, which he accepted. After two years in Washington, D.C. Seno changed to the Chicago Cardinals. For the play 1947 and 1948, he joined the Boston Yanks to end his career after another season with the Redskins in 1949.

Seno was the holder of numerous Jahresbestleistungen. In 1944 he achieved by a punt return in a Redskins game against the Boston Yanks a space gain of 60 yards. After the career

Frank Seno was after his career businessman in Bellwood. He was married and had three children. Seno died of a heart attack and is on the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois, buried.
