Frank Thring

Frank Thring ( born May 11, 1926 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, † December 29, 1994 ibid; actually Francis William Thring Jr.) was an Australian film and stage actor.

Filmmaking

Frank Thring embodied like no other two negative characters of the New Testament. In Ben Hur, the eleven Oscars winning film from 1959 he played Pontius Pilate in The King of Kings 1961 Herod Antipas. Herod Antipas character he should also embody in the stage production of the play Salome.

Thring was also known by the Australian television series Skippy the bush kangaroo.
