Fräulein Wunder

Fräuleinwunder was founded in 2006, four-piece pop-rock girl band from Friedberg, Hesse.

History

The four band members met in 2006 together to emulate their musical idols in local hobby cellar. In 2007, they wrote their own songs first and was soon followed by the first appearances. Initially, the group was founded under the name dolls blood. Out was used then the band name Shero, until finally in 2008, in reference to the term " Miss Miracle" of the 1950s, the final name Fräuleinwunder was found.

At one of her concerts the band was discovered by a record label. The record company asked them how producer Uwe Fahrenkrog- Petersen ( Nena ) and Inga Humpe ( 2raumwohnung ) to the side with which they wrote pieces for her first album, which was released in 2008.

The first single was called " If I were a boy ' " and was released two weeks before the release of the album. The song made ​​it to number 16 on the charts.

The band is at Universal Vertigo under contract. In 2008, the band has appeared at the Festival rock on the ring. Furthermore, there was Fräuleinwunder July-August 2008 multi-week daily posts, by a so-called " band diary ," in the show VIVA Live! to see in which they presented themselves as newcomer band and staged their daily lives as reality soap. 2009 took the band the State of Hesse with the Federal Vision Song Contest in Potsdam and came here with the song " Radio Star " to sixth place.

In December 2010, the band broke up.
