Fred Willard

Fred Willard ( born September 18, 1939 in Shaker Heights, Ohio ) is an American actor and comedian. He is married and has one daughter.

Life

Fred Willard studied at the Kentucky Military Institute and Virginia Military Institute and completed his studies with a Bachelor of Arts in English. He is considered one of the best improvisers in the U.S. and has 40 years in cinema and television presence with roles and series. In addition, he is one of the founding members of the Ace Trucking Company. After he appeared in small roles since 1968, he gained notoriety in 1977 in the television series Fernwood 2 Nite. In addition to several nominations for the Emmy he received the 2001 American Comedy Award and the BSFC Award for his role in the movie Best in Show.
