Freddie Tomlins

Frederick William Edwin " Freddie " Tomlins (* August 4, 1919 in Lambeth, London, United Kingdom, † June 20, 1943 over the English Channel ) was a British figure skater who started in a single run.

Tomlins 1939, both Vice-European Champion as well as runners-up, both times behind compatriot Graham Sharp. He participated in the Olympic Games in 1936 and finished it in tenth.

Tomlins served in World War II in the Royal Air Force. In the fight against a German U- boat he lost on 20 June 1943, the English Channel his life.
